Crash Test Dummy Instrumentation Engineer
You'll be part of a Test Rig Design Team who spend about a year designing and building bespoke test rigs for a single test that lasts less than 10 seconds.
Your contribution is to select and calibrate a wide range of instruments including transducers, accelerometers, load cells, data acquisition and signal conditioning circuits that will be integrated into these test rigs.
Ideally, you'll have experience with hybrid III test dummies, velocity measuring systems, camera control circuits and timing systems too but your core skills must be in working with test instrument calibration.
One of the UK's leading test instrument experts is retiring so you'll be under his guidance, training and mentoring for at least 12-18 months learning everything about Hybrid 3 test dummies too.
