Location: Chiswick Park, London, W4 5YG – Head office Based

Salary: Between £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) + up to 15% bonus + tax efficient company car scheme

Full Time and Permanent – Monday to Friday – 9.00am-5.30pm – Office Based

Our client is one of the fastest-growing automotive brands in the UK, bringing innovative products and a fresh customer experience to the UK market. As their parts business continues to grow, they are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Parts Planning & Dealer Support Specialist to join their team based from their head office in Chiswick Park, London.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in automotive parts operations and who has experience of working for an OEM Manufacturer from their head office, and has experience of inventory planning, dealer support, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and solving operational issues through effective coordination and communication.

Role Purpose

The Parts Dealer Support Specialist will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day parts business across the UK dealer network. The role focuses on backorder management, dealer enquiry handling, and internal coordination to help improve parts availability, support dealer operations, and deliver a high standard of aftersales service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backorder Management
    • Monitor daily backorder status and maintain clear visibility of open backorder lines.
    • Follow up with headquarters and relevant suppliers on overdue, high-impact, or urgent parts supply issues.
    • Support the prioritisation of critical backorders based on vehicle-off-road cases, customer impact, workshop demand, and business urgency.
    • Provide regular updates on backorder status, expected supply timing, risks, and recovery actions.
    • Investigate recurring backorder issues and support improvement actions to reduce ageing and improve supply performance.
  • Dealer Support
    • Act as a key contact for dealer parts-related enquiries, including order status, parts availability, backorders, system issues, and general operational support.
    • Respond to dealer queries in a timely, professional, and solution-focused manner. Also track recurring dealer concerns and support continuous improvement in response quality and operational processes.
    • Work closely with internal teams such as service, technical, warranty, finance, and other business functions to resolve dealer issues effectively.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in parts operations, inventory planning, supply chain, or aftersales support for an OEM Manufacturer in a head office role.
  • Good understanding of parts replenishment, stock control, and order fulfilment processes.
  • Experience in backorder follow-up, supply issue coordination or dealer support.
  • Good analytical capability and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, experience with SAP or other ERP / inventory systems.
  • Able to work independently, manage priorities and perform well in a dynamic business environment.
  • Full and valid driving licence.
