Holt Recruitment is working on behalf of a well‑established hire business looking to add an experienced Small Tools & Plant Fitter to their workshop team in Northampton. We are looking for an engineer for a Monday to Friday role with excellent earning potential, ongoing training and career development.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair small plant, power tools and hire equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, petrol and diesel faults.
- Carry out workshop repairs with occasional site visits when required.
- Complete service records and job documentation.
- Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within Plant Hire, Tool Hire, Construction Equipment or similar.
- Good mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Positive attitude and team‑focused approach.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
