We’re currently recruiting for a Mould Technician for an internationally established plastics manufacturer. The Injection Mould Technician will work a three‑shift pattern (6 a.m. – 2 p.m./2 p.m. – 10 p.m./10 p.m. – 6 a.m.) and work closely with production and tooling teams to improve processes, support new tool setups, reduce change‑over times and ensure everything is done right the first time.
Further responsibilities include:
- Optimising moulding processes for quality and cycle time
- Leading and supporting the tool change team
- Setting up new tools and supporting start‑ups
- Improving tool change times through SMED activities
- Spotting issues and suggesting better ways of working
- Carrying out basic audits and supporting safe, tidy working practices
What we’re looking for:
- Strong technical understanding of moulding and tool change processes
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
