The role involves supporting the internal customer (Manufacturing Manager) by sharing agreed objectives on EHS, Quality, Cost and Delivery and participating in the Operational Control model.
Responsibilities:
- Support the internal customer (Manufacturing Manager) by sharing agreed objectives on EHS, Quality, Cost and Delivery and participating in the Operational Control model.
- Conduct the departmental walk-the-floor routine.
- Participate in the Daily Operations meeting, taking ownership of problems assigned to the TL function for resolution, presenting daily production metrics, quality issues, reporting on departmental EHS and capacity planning.
- Contribute to the delivery of the EHS Model by leading Job Safety Observations and providing technical/process solutions to EHS problems.
- Understand the process constraints and operating rules of the value stream, lead problem-solving exercises to improve flow.
- Support the Manufacturing Manager through day-to-day supervision of the Machine Shop.
Requirements / Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications:
- Leadership/management experience.
- Knowledge of SQCDP and confident communication.
- Demonstrates good teamwork and the ability to work independently.
