Based near Hanger Lane, West London, you'll join a growing team working directly with autonomous vehicle systems. If you have solid EV experience and want to move into genuinely complex, tech-forward work, this is your next step.

Ditch the 8–5 grind. Our shift structure gives you full days off during the week:

  • Monday – Friday | 10:00PM – 6:30AM

What you'll be working on:

  • Servicing, repair and maintenance of electric autonomous vehicles — mechanical, electrical and integrated AV systems
  • Complex hardware retrofits: sensor fitment, LiDAR, RADAR and AV hardware replacement
  • Software and firmware updates across the fleet
  • Diagnosing nuanced mechanical, electrical, A/C and AV/EV systems
  • Collaborating with engineering and service teams to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Accurate documentation of repair orders, diagnostics and parts used
  • Participating in fleet-wide hardware and software upgrade programmes
  • Staying current with AV technology through ongoing training and development

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of hands-on automotive and EV experience — brakes, suspension, alignment, electrical repair and diagnosis
  • Ability to diagnose nuanced mechanical, electrical, A/C and AV/EV systems
  • Experience with complex hardware retrofits and AV hardware replacement
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Confident with hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment (impact guns, lifts, jacks etc.)
  • Solid computer skills and a strong aptitude for new technology
  • Detail-oriented, safety-focused and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screening

Nice to have:

  • IMI or City & Guilds EV/HV qualification
  • Background from a prestige or performance brand — JLR, McLaren, Tesla, Porsche, BMW, VW, MINI or similar
  • Sensor calibration or autonomous vehicle field experience

Working environment:

You'll be working in a modern workshop environment. The role involves regular physical activity including standing, lifting, working in confined spaces and occasional use of elevated platforms. Appropriate PPE is provided and reimbursed. Reasonable adjustments are available for candidates with disabilities.
