About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Bodyshop Workshop Controller / Production Manager to join a busy and well-established accident repair centre in Thurmaston, Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and organised individual to play a key role in managing workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards across all repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the bodyshop workshop
- Manage workflow and ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time
- Coordinate technicians, schedules, and repair processes
- Monitor productivity and ensure targets are achieved
- Handle administrative processes, including job approvals and documentation
- Maintain high standards in line with industry regulations and audits
- Ensure compliance with company systems, procedures, and health & safety requirements
About You
- Proven experience within an accident repair bodyshop environment
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Production Manager, or similar role
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Numerate and literate, with the ability to manage administrative tasks effectively
- Ability to manage workflow, approvals, and quality standards
- A hands‑on, proactive approach with strong leadership skills
- Able to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
Additional Requirement
Due to existing contracts with the police, all candidates must be able to pass NPPV Level 2 vetting.
