We’re looking for an experienced Head of Product Development to lead the operational delivery of IMI’s product development strategy.
What you’ll do
- Deliver the product development strategy set by the Director of Commercial, translating priorities into clear roadmaps, plans, KPIs and workflows.
- Lead day to day management of Regulated and Non Regulated Product Developers, setting expectations for quality, timelines and compliance.
- Oversee end to end development of regulated qualifications, non regulated products and digital/eLearning content—using data, market insight and customer feedback to shape propositions.
- Maintain robust product lifecycle management from inception to retirement, including enhancements and revisions driven by performance and compliance needs.
- Ensure all development adheres to quality assurance, governance and regulatory frameworks, including approval and sign off processes.
- Provide performance reporting (dashboards, forecasts and KPI tracking) and clear updates on progress, risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate across Commercial, Membership, Marketing, Quality, Digital, Finance and Operations to support seamless delivery and successful go to market activity.
What we’re looking for
- Proven leadership of product development, qualification development or curriculum design teams.
- Strong operational management experience, with the ability to translate strategy into deliverable development plans.
- Experience in qualification development, curriculum design, product management and/or eLearning development.
- Ability to analyse performance data, market trends and customer insight to inform development decisions.
- Excellent relationship building, influencing and communication skills.
- Experience within education, skills, training, awarding, membership and/or professional body environments.
