An experienced HGV Technician is sought to join a newly built depot in Felixstowe, with modern facilities, advanced diagnostic equipment, and a supportive workshop team. Multiple shift patterns available offering stability, progression, and industry‑recognised training.
Shift Patterns & Pay
- Late Shift – 15:30 to Midnight (40 hours). Up to £25.50 per hour. OTE: £53,000–£60,000. Saturdays when required, paid at time and a half.
- Early Shift – 07:00 to 15:30. Up to £20.50 per hour. £42,640 annual salary. £30.75 overtime rate.
- Rotating Shift – 07:00 to 15:30 / 15:30 to Midnight. Up to £22.00 per hour. £45,760 annual salary. £33.00 overtime rate. All shifts include alternate Saturday mornings paid at time and a half.

- Diagnosing faults and specifying accurate repair solutions
- Supporting the creation of quotes and work orders
- Identifying defects during servicing and planned maintenance
- Ensuring accurate time recording and correct labour coding
- Completing effective shift handovers
- Handing over fully completed jobs for invoicing

What You Will Bring
- Strong experience working as an HGV Technician
- Knowledge of VOSA requirements and the MOT testers’ manual

- Basic Microsoft Outlook skills
- City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent HGV qualification
