Renault Truck Commercials Network - RTC in Faversham, Kent. An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the RTC in Faversham, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 3 qualified HGV Technician or Level 3 qualified LCV Technician to join our thriving and busy Kent Dealership.
Shift details: 40 hour week, hourly rate up to £21 per hour negotiable. Early shift 06:00‑14:30; late shift 13:30‑22:00. Alternate Saturdays 06:00‑12:00 with extra payments for Saturday mornings, standby, and call out.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure your work is carried out as efficiently as possible and you are following the Service Process Maps.
- Ensure you are fully briefed on job requirements and budgets per up‑front job specifications.
- Provide diagnostic outcomes and accurately specify repair solutions.
- Ensure time recording procedures are complied with including correct use of codes as per productivity policy.
- Ensure fully specified jobs are given to CSR for invoicing.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Significant experience of working as a Dealership Technician within the Commercial vehicle industry.
- Good knowledge of VOSA requirements and MOT testers manual.
- The application of Standard Times.
- Knowledge of the Service Process stages relevant to the role.
- An appreciation of our customers, the environment in which they operate and the direct impact we can have on their business.
- Technical product knowledge.
Required Competences:
- City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent in Commercial Vehicle Technology - HGV or LCV.
- To be able to work in an organised & methodical manner ensuring that all daily tasks are completed.
- To be able to modify your approach in specific circumstances to ensure a positive outcome.
- To be able to understand & analyse technical issues & propose appropriate solutions.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
