The Role
We are seeking a proactive Production Controller to support the efficient flow of production within a busy manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for managing production orders, maintaining ERP/MRP data, coordinating subcontract activities, and ensuring materials are available to meet production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Release and manage production orders.
- Monitor material shortages and resolve production issues.
- Maintain accurate ERP/MRP system transactions and records.
- Coordinate subcontract work and schedules.
- Work closely with Production, Stores, Planning, and Procurement teams.
- Ensure accurate material movements and inventory control.
- Support continuous improvement and maintain health & safety standards.
About You
- Experience in production control, planning, logistics, or supply chain.
- Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Manufacturing or fabrication experience is advantageous.
