We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Mobile HGV Technician to join our expanding operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a field-based role with excellent earning potential, job stability, and the opportunity to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on HGVs and trailers
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
  • Attend roadside breakdowns and provide fast, effective repairs
  • Complete MOT preparation and defect rectification
  • Carry out brake, suspension, engine, and trailer repairs
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
  • Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company standards
  • Complete job cards and paperwork accurately
  • Deliver excellent customer service while working independently in the field
  • Maintain company vehicle stock levels and tools

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience working on trailers would be advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Good understanding of health & safety procedures
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
  • HGV licence beneficial but not essential
