Our client, a reputable independent prestige and classic car specialist workshop in Richmond, is seeking a highly skilled Classic / Modern Car Vehicle Technician. This opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse range of vehicles, from heritage restorations to modern sports cars, within a well‑established and respected team. The successful Classic Car Technician will be integral to the continued success of this premium workshop.

Duties

  • Conduct servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of classic and modern vehicles
  • Undertake restorations of heritage vehicles
  • Perform vehicle road tests and diagnose faults accurately
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship in accordance with company guidelines
  • Support colleagues with technical advice and assistance
  • Ensure the workshop maintains a professional image and high quality of service at all times
  • Undertake any additional duties as required to support the workshop’s operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a vehicle technician role within a specialist, franchised dealership, or independent garage
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Relevant qualifications in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of classic and modern vehicles
  • A proactive, team‑oriented approach with excellent problem‑solving skills
  • Own tools is essential
  • Passion for working with heritage and contemporary high‑performance vehicles
