We’re looking for a commercially minded Key Account Manager to nurture and grow relationships with existing customers and members, while developing new business opportunities.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts, building long‑term relationships and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Generate sales through consultative conversations: understand customer needs, shape solutions and close opportunities.
  • Present the breadth of IMI solutions to customers and stakeholder groups.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline for each allocated key account.
  • Agree product packages and commercial terms through to the point of sale.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver a smooth, positive customer journey.
  • Maintain effective territory and diary management to maximise regional coverage.
  • Complete required reporting, forecasting and administration; use data and analysis tools to track activity and sector intelligence.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in consultative selling and key account management.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence at a senior level.
  • Confidence presenting to both small and large audiences.
  • Commercial acumen with experience securing and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), including report/proposal writing.
  • Comfortable using data to inform decisions (analysis, reporting and forecasting).
  • Strong IT literacy (Microsoft systems and tools).
  • Sector knowledge in education or professional bodies and/or automotive retail.
  • Knowledge of awarding and professional body operations.
