Warehouse Manager – Bristol, Fishponds
Salary: £55,000. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4pm, 40 hours per week.
We are looking for a confident leader with a background in stores or warehousing to manage our warehouse in the Bristol area. The successful candidate will lead the stores function, take ownership of stock accuracy, goods-in performance, and the daily flow of materials into production, reporting directly to the Planning Director.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Stores and Kitting team, setting clear standards and expectations.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy through effective stock control processes.
- Ensure goods in are received, checked, and processed promptly.
- Oversee kitting activities to ensure production receives the right materials on time.
- Manage stock levels, locations, and movements using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
- Identify and implement practical process improvements.
- Work closely with Planning, Production, and Purchasing to ensure smooth material flow.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing a stores, warehouse, or materials team.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Proven record of improving stock accuracy and warehouse processes.
- Confident leader with a background in automotive, manufacturing, or production‑led environments.
- Experience working to clear KPIs and deadlines.
- Understanding of lean or continuous improvement is desirable.
