We have an exciting new job vacancy available for a Vehicle Technician / Garage Manager in Bolton. My client is an independent garage looking for an experienced and confident Vehicle Technician who is ready to run a garage alongside the owner. They’re looking for someone who has thought about running their own garage but doesn’t have the infrastructure or team to do so. This role allows you to walk into an already established garage, with a team fully set up for you on day 1 and bring/build your own customer base which you get to keep full profit from. Role:
- Bring in your own customers to the garage and fix their vehicles, keeping full profit from self-sourced work
- Help the garage with repairs as well
- Learn the day-to-day aspect of running a garage
- Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
- Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair (may include warranty-approved work in line with our brand parameters)
- Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ, IMI, ATA or City & Guilds level 3 in light/heavy/PSV/LCV vehicle maintenance & repair (Will accept a Mechanical Engineering level 3 qualification)
- MOT licence is preferable but not essential
- 6+ years experience as a Vehicle Technician (confident to do all types of repairs independently)
