Location: Small Heath

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (Occasional Saturday mornings)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the workshop
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of around 6 technicians and support staff
  • Allocate work and ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Monitor productivity, efficiency and workshop performance
  • Carry out quality control checks
  • Support diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repair work as required
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships
Requirements
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician or time-served Vehicle Technician
  • Strong all-round knowledge of vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs
  • Previous workshop management, supervisory or team leader experience
  • Experience managing a team of approximately 6 staff
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead by example and maintain high workshop standards
  • Full UK Driving Licence
