Location: Aberystwyth

Salary: £35,000 basic + up to £10,000 bonus

Working hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays: 8:30am – 4:00pm, day off in the week when working Saturdays

The role focuses on delivering key business objectives by managing everyday depot operations, building a positive sales culture, and ensuring high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the daily operations of the centre to achieve business targets
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards
  • Leading, motivating, and developing a team of technicians and front‑of‑house staff
  • Driving sales performance and maximising revenue opportunities
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Managing stock control, costs, and overall centre profitability
  • Monitoring performance and implementing improvements where needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Centre Manager / Assistant Manager within a fast‑fit or automotive environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven track record in a sales‑driven environment
  • Good technical/mechanical understanding
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to drive performance
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
