Cleaning Operative - CA1

Salary: Real Living Wage £13.45 per hour Hours: 8 hours per week, days and times are negotiable. Please note this job is working between 2 different sites. Each site is 2 hours twice weekly, 8 hours in total. What you’ll be doing Reporting to your Regional Team Leader, your main responsibility will be to provide a high standard of cleaning service to our customers. Areas to clean might include offices, kitchens, toilets, reception and meeting rooms, and touch points such as door handles and light switches. Some of our sites are health or support services, where you’ll help keep clinical rooms clean to the right standards. We’ll show you exactly how. Day to day you’ll: * Clean to the schedule for your site and fill in simple cleaning records * Use and store equipment and products safely * Email our admin team to order more cleaning supplies when they’re running low * Be friendly and helpful with customers and staff on site What we’re looking for: * You take pride in a job well done * You’re reliable and let us know if something gets in the way * You’re happy working on your own with support from your team lead when you need it No cleaning experience needed. Full training is provided. What you’ll get * Full training, including health and safety and how to use cleaning products safely * Support from your Regional Team Leader * A chance to grow, with routes into supervisor roles About DBS checks Because this role is based in a service that supports people who may be vulnerable, you’ll need a basic DBS check before you start. We arrange this for you and cover the cost. A basic check only shows unspent convictions and cautions, so anything that is already spent won’t appear. Having a conviction or caution doesn’t automatically stop you from getting this job. We look at each person individually and will talk it through with you in confidence.
