More recruitment are actively looking to recruit some HGV Class 2 Drivers for a contract based out of Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular, ongoing work, with the potential to move from temporary to permanent employment, offering consistent hours and a supportive working environment.
Duties for the HGV Class 2 Driver will be deliveries and collections. This role will include multi-drops, approximately 25-40. Our client is one of the UK's leading time-critical carriers and can satisfy all your distribution needs, whether your consignments are for the UK or elsewhere in the world. In addition, our team has the technology and information systems to provide a seamless service for you and your customers.
The role involves 10-15 local deliveries, hand ball, loading and unloading, as most deliveries are business-to-business.
Shifts: Monday - Friday, Starts between 07:00 and 09:00, Shift length between 10 to 12 hours per day
Pay Rates: Standard Pay Rate: £16.36 per hour (holiday accrued), Advanced Pay Rate: £17.41 per hour (no holiday pay), Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift, Weekly pay
Job Requirements:
- Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 points on licence (no DR or IN endorsements)
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum 2 years of relevant driving experience
