HGV Class 2 Skip Driver Needed
More Recruitment are working with a client based in Leicester (LE4 Belgrave) who are looking for experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 (Category C) Skip Drivers to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular work, with a temp-to-perm position offering long-term stability and consistent hours.
The role will involve skip collection and delivery, carried out safely and professionally.
Shifts: Monday - Friday (with additional Saturday work on a rota basis)
Pay Rates:
- Standard Pay Rate: £14.91 per hour (with holiday pay)
- Advanced Pay Rate: £15.91 per hour (no holiday pay)
- Overtime after 45 hours: £19.38 per hour
- Saturday Rate: £19.38 per hour
- Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift
- Weekly Pay
Job Requirements:
- Valid Category C (Class 2) UK licence
- Minimum 2 years recent Class 2 (HGV) driving experience in the UK
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence (no major endorsements)
- Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious
- Good verbal and written communication skills
