More Recruitment is working with clients who are looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join their teams. The role will involve trunking between depots, general haulage, and store deliveries. Some roles may also involve handball, self-tipping, or assisting with deliveries using a pump truck. All trailers are curtain-sided with tail lifts, and you will be responsible for strapping and securing your loads.
This role is suitable for candidates looking for ongoing work as well as those seeking ad-hoc shifts. We have different shift patterns available to suit your needs. Shifts may start at various times, so flexibility is required.
- Shifts: Monday to Sunday (on rotation), Monday to Friday, or Weekends
Pay Rates:
- £19 per hour on days
- £20 per hour on nights
Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift. Weekly pay.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Category C (Class 1) UK licence
- Minimum 1 year recent Class 1 (HGV) driving experience in the UK
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence (no major endorsements)
- Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious
- Good verbal and written communication skills
