Job Description
More Recruitment are working closely with a client who are seeking a skilled and dedicated Class 1 Drivers. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting/collecting goods safely and efficiently. The right candidate should be comfortable with Curtain sided deliveries, and general haulage.
Pay rates:
- LTD – £18/ph
- PAYE – 16/ph
Job requirements
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- You must have a UK licence with at least 2 years experience driving a Class 1 in the UK
- Assist in loading and unloading goods as required.
- Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
