Class 1 Driver

More Recruitment is working closely with a new client within Birmingham who is seeking skilled and reliable Class One drivers. The ideal candidate will posses a strong commitment to safety. This role involves transporting/collecting goods to designated locations while ensuring timely deliveries/collections and maintaining the integrity of the cargo\\n\\nDuties\\n\\n * Safely operate HGV's for the delivery/collection of goods to customers.\\n\\n * Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.\\n\\n * Load/unload, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transport.\\n\\n * Maintain accurate records of deliveries or collections, including logs of mileage, fuel usage and any incidents.\\n\\n * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.\\n\\n * Provide excelllent customer service by being courteous during interactions with clients.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\n * You need to have a UK Licence and at least 2 year's experience driving Class 1 within the UK.\\n\\n * You will have an in date CPC and Tachograph card\\n\\n * You can not have anymore than 6 points on your licence.\\n\\n * You will have good written and verbal communication skills
