More Recruitment is working closely with a client based in Northampton who are looking for experienced HGV1 Drivers for Day work. We are currently seeking an experienced Lorry Driver to join our team, working day shifts. The successful candidate must have prior experience working with plant hire machinery.
You will be responsible for safely loading and unloading diggers/cranes onto and off the back of the lorry, so confidence and competence in operating plant equipment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Transporting plant hire machinery to and from sites
- Safely moving diggers/cranes on and off the back of the lorry
- Securing machinery correctly using straps and restraints
- Ensuring loads are safe and compliant before transit
- Proven experience with plant hire machinery (essential)
- Experience loading and unloading diggers/cranes (essential)
- Ability to safely strap and secure machinery to the vehicle
- Valid licence and relevant driver CPC (if applicable)
- Reliable and safety-conscious approach
This role is currently up for potential ongoing opportunities. Payment Options: PAYE LTD Company drivers welcome. Experience is required for this role.
