More in Common is seeking a full‑time Data Analyst to support research, communications, partnership, and client work across the UK. The role will be based in our London office Monday‑Thursday, with Fridays flexible.
Responsibilities
- Translate public opinion data into insights for policymakers, media, and the general public.
- Perform analysis using cluster analysis, multilevel regression modelling, conjoint analysis, and MaxDiff analysis.
- Create compelling stories through creative data visualisation.
- Support team members with data and analysis requests, and expand the team’s analytical capabilities.
- Conduct quantitative fieldwork, including survey drafting and executing advanced survey experiments.
- Lead the data and analysis elements of major research projects from design to execution, analysis, and presentation of insights.
- Uphold best research practice and assist global colleagues with research queries.
- Innovate on research methodologies for More in Common.
Qualifications and Experience
- Advanced coding proficiency, including machine learning techniques.
- Demonstrated expertise extracting insights from complex data sets.
- Strong data visualisation skills, with the ability to communicate insights to diverse audiences.
- Experience interpreting quantitative data and producing outputs that tell a compelling story.
- Good understanding of statistical methods, such as regression modelling and hypothesis testing.
