Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Manager, based in West Sussex. The Technical Manager will oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include:
- Managing technical support
- Leading research and development projects for new products
- Analyzing production processes for enhancements
- Coordinating cross-functional teams
The role requires effective team management and project oversight to uphold high operational standards and deliver exceptional products to our clients.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills for process evaluation, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Proven Team Management experience, with the ability to guide and motivate staff
- Proficiency in Technical Support to address production challenges and maintain operational efficiency
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D) for product innovation and improvement
- Competency in Project Management, including planning, execution, and completion of technical initiatives
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards (e.g., BRC certification)
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
