We’re currently recruiting 2 x HGV 1 (Cat C+E) ADR Drivers for our customer based just outside Peterborough. These roles involve general haulage, including collections and deliveries, as well as some bulk runs. Our customer carries equipment for solar installations, including batteries, which requires an ADR Class 9 qualification. If you're looking for an ongoing role, we want to hear from you!
Key Details:
- Pay Rate: £18.50 Per Hour + Holiday Pay (£20.73 Per Hour inc Holiday Pay) PAYE
- Average Earnings: £1,040 per week + Holiday Pay (£1,165 per week inc Holiday Pay) PAYE
- Shifts: Monday - Friday
- Start Times: 6am Starts
- Shift Length: 11-12 Hour Per Shift
- Work Type: Ongoing - Can lead to permanent if desired
Requirements:
- A valid UK HGV 1 (Cat C+E) Driving Licence
- Ideally a minimum of 12 months driving experience in the UK (although lower can be discussed)
- ADR Class 9 Qualification (Miscellaneous Substances & Articles)
- A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Strong reliability and a professional attitude
