Responsibilities:
- Oversee the receiving and shelving of purchased goods, ensuring accurate receipt, quality inspection, and proper shelving within the warehouse.
- Manage the receiving team, providing guidance, task assignment, performance monitoring, and training as necessary to ensure efficient and accurate completion of daily tasks.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to confirm delivery schedules, address receiving exceptions promptly, and ensure timely delivery of goods by communicating with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Identify areas for improvement in warehouse processes, implement best practices, and develop strategies to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Ensure all received goods meet quality standards, maintain shelf accuracy through regular audits and inspections, and take corrective action as needed.
