The predicted salary is between 31630 - 31630 £ per year.
Applicants should note the successful candidate will work mainly in the Technical Department. AV tasks will not generally be part of the remit. The purpose of this post is to provide Technical/AV support services to all departments, members of staff, pupils and other stakeholders in the school.

- Provision and organisation of materials and equipment
- Responsible for relevant in-service training / CPD
- Financial responsibility including inventory tasks
The Individual
- Expertise in the areas of Technical/AV
- Qualified to HNC level in a Technical subject; Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent as demonstrated by experience in any of this field
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Proven time management skills
- Working knowledge of software applications including word, excel and general internet access
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to learn
- Self confidence
- Self motivated
- A commitment to ensure that appropriate health and safety standards are met
- Evidence of an ability to prioritise work tasks for self
- Ability to accurately record information
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- An ability to communicate technical issues to all within the school environment
- Willingness to accept direction/delegation
- Ability to lift and carry computer hardware in conjunction with moving and handling regulations
This post is considered to be a ‘Regulated Role’ under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Under the Act it is a legal requirement for an individual undertaking a regulated role with children or protected adults to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme. Therefore the successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to any formal offer of employment being made by Moray Council.
