Job Description
The Supported Accommodation Officer will as part of a team, be responsible for the delivery of a Regulated Service – Temporary Homeless Accommodation.
\\n\\nThe Supported Accommodation Officer will plan, monitor and supervise the delivery of the service to enable service users to live as independently as possible within the community.
\\n\\nThe Supported Accommodation Officer will act in accordance with Health & Social Care Standards, SSSC Registration, and Care Inspectorate requirements.
\\nRequirementsProvide day to day management of a Regulated Service.
\\nSupervise, support and identify development opportunities for Staff.
\\nWork in a multi-professional way by liaising with internal and external colleagues.
\\nContribute to the maximisation of income from occupied accommodation.
\\nDeliver emergency and temporary accommodation.
\\nResponsibilitiesn/a
\\nThe IndividualRecent experience of multidisciplinary working in a Housing Support/Social Care environment or a medical environment
\\nExperience of supervising staff Experience of risk assessment process.
\\nPDA in supervision or evidence of ability to obtain the qualification
\\nEvidence of ability to meet SSSC registration requirements and continuing PRTL requirements.
\\nGood communication skills, both oral and written Competent in the use of IT systems, including Microsoft and bespoke IT systems.
\\nAbility to work to deadlines and under pressure.
\\nAbility to work unsupervised and use own initiative Evidence of being self-motivated and ability to motivate others.
\\nAbility to negotiate and liaise with appropriate others and resolve conflict.
\\nYou will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray to meet the operational requirements of the Service. Due to the rural nature of Moray this is normally undertaken by use of a car.
\\nAbility to work as part of a team and contribute to service development.
\\nAbility to work in partnership in a multi-professional way.
\\nWillingness to accept direction/delegation.
\\nAbility to undertaker home visits to tenants in their own tenancy or temporary accommodation.
\\nAbility to work in an open plan office.
\\nAbility to work in different offices dependent on service requirements.
\\nThe successful candidate will be required to undergo a Level 1 Disclsoure Update check prior to any formal offer of employment being made by Moray Council.
