The predicted salary is between 36827 - 45011 Β£ per year.

To be part of the Adult Social Work team working with individuals, families, carers and/or communities to support them to achieve their outcomes. Working under the oversight of a registered social worker, tasks will include participation in assessments, care planning, monitoring and reviewing in the context of joint and multi-agency working as appropriate to the needs of service users and carers, consistent with National Health and Social Care Standards. The post holder would have no line management or budgetary responsibility.

The Individual

  • Experience / Training in Local Government
  • Knowledge and/or understanding of Community Care
  • Educated to SVQ3, HNC or equivalent in relevant discipline with Higher grade or equivalent in English
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft office packages, including Excel and Access
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • To be able to work under pressure
