Job Description Job Description Catering Assistant Grade 3 Various Locations within Moray Council Area Salary: £13.26 per hour Hours: As and when required For further information contact the Catering Team on 01343 563366 As Catering Assistant you will work within the Catering Team supporting the Unit Supervisor at various locations on an as and when required basis to deliver healthy, fresh and nutritious meals. Moray Council Catering Services operate across 52 schools in both primary and secondary schools as well as providing meals for Early Years Settings through-out the area. You could join the 300 staff we have across Moray preparing and serving meals daily to schools and nurseries, making us the largest catering operation in Moray. Every one of our employees contributes to the success of our organisation and most importantly the health of pupils daily. Please see attached documentation for further information about the role. This post is considered to be a ‘Regulated Role’ under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Under the Act it is a legal requirement for an individual undertaking a regulated role with children or protected adults to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme. Therefore the successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to any formal offer of employment being made by Moray Council. Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary which annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
