The predicted salary is between 15.66 - 15.66 £ per hour.

To administer the daily work flow scheduling of repairs and servicing appointments using Dynamic Resource Scheduling (DRS) software, to ensure that labour resources are utilised effectively and efficiently and that tenants are provided with an excellent repairs and maintenance service.

Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the administration of the Council’s repairs and maintenance appointment and electronic workflow scheduling system (DRS) and XTAG to ensure that all repairs and cyclic servicing is scheduled in line with agreed policy and procedure.
  • Ensure all follow on repairs are scheduled and completed within agreed timescales.
  • Administer out of hours emergency calls including collate paperwork, data entry, arrange follow on repairs and inspections ensuring compliance.
  • Maintain and provide key performance information and records to meet key performance targets and provide value for money.
  • To provide good customer care in accordance with Council policy and to consider their needs in service delivery.
  • To comply with all Health and safety, training and security procedures and guidelines.
  • To undertake all scheduling, technical and administration duties as directed by the Senior Repairs Scheduler.

The Individual

  • Considerable administration/technical experience in a busy office environment.
  • Previous customer contact experience.
  • Experience of utilising a range of computer packages including Microsoft Office, Excel and Access.
  • 4 SQA standard grades at level 3 or above (or equivalent i.e. NAT5) including English and Maths.
  • Strong customer care focus and skills.
  • A genuine willingness to help people.
  • Flexibility.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Capable of working on own or as a team member.
  • Ability to organise workload and work methodically.
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Prioritise tasks and co-operate with colleagues.
