An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SfL Teacher to join the Pinefield Team which sits within the central Inclusion Service. This post provides applicants with the opportunity to provide assistance to schools, learners and families alike. This role will involve working directly with staff in the 8 secondary schools in Moray as well as multiagency working. The role will be based in MAC Pinefield Project and Resource Centre in Elgin, reacting to the needs of individual young people and schools, working with young people within a small group setting.

This team sits within the wider central Inclusion Service which provides an adapted curriculum for secondary aged pupils, with close working with the Youth Justice Team, and the Moray Adapted Curriculum provision (MAC Central). This supports primary and secondary learners with a flexible and adapted curriculum personalised to individual need. The successful post holder will work very closely with staff in both these teams.

The central Inclusion Service also includes three Flexible Learning Resource teams which support primary schools, one within MAC Central to support central Moray and two outreach teams supporting East and West Moray. In addition to this, there is a Deaf and Visual Education Team, an English as an Additional Language Team and a team of trainers providing professional learning aligned to the Moray Staged Intervention model.
