The predicted salary is between 25994 - 25994 £ per year.
To assist with the management of temporary accommodation to ensure it meets the current national Letting Standards for individuals and families who are in transition and working towards permanent accommodation.
Requirements
- Estate management & domestic house cleaning.
- To maintain electronic and paper records concerned with the usage of temporary accommodation and to prepare monitoring reports.
- Attend team meetings and training as required.
The Individual
- Demonstrable experience of undertaking minor repairs, decoration and domestic house cleaning.
- Ability to use a range of tools and equipment, ensuring safe handling and storage.
- Proven experience of processing information and accurate record keeping.
- School Education level - 2 SQA Standard grades or equivalent at level 3 or above.
- Demonstrable willingness to undertake training as required.
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, prioritise tasks and co-operate with colleagues.
- Ability to work alone and use initiative.
- Effective organisational and time management skills.
- A flexible approach in response to the requirements of the changing priorities of the role as needed.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of customer care.
- Able to demonstrate ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team.
- Appreciation, acceptance of and a commitment to the importance of confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with internal and external personnel, contractors and suppliers.
- Ability to undertake manual tasks.
- You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
- Due to the rural nature of Moray this is normally undertaken by use of a Moray Council car/van.
- Ability to work flexibly and undertake evening work when required.
Under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure Check.
