To provide clerical support to the Supported Accommodation Team.
Requirements:
- Provide clerical support to the Supported Accommodation and Sheltered Housing staff.
- Enter and update information on NPS Housing, SharePoint and other databases as required.
- Act as a point of contact for dealing with tenant queries and exit surveys by telephone.
The Individual:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a busy office environment using relevant technology and equipment e.g. photocopier, email, intra/internet.
- Proven experience of clerical work including typing, figure work and typing.
- Customer Care Experience.
- 4 SQA Standard Grades or equivalent at level 3 or above including English and Arithmetic (or equivalent).
- ECDL or equivalent demonstrable working experience of Microsoft software packages.
- Effective liaison with individuals outwith immediate working environment.
- High level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to prioritise own workload in the event of conflicting demands.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Appreciation and adherence to confidentiality.
- Flexible and adaptable in working patterns in both teamwork and areas of individual responsibility.
- Understanding of and ability to demonstrate key inter-personal skills, both on the telephone and face to face, when handling sensitive matters.
- Ability to work in a shared/open plan office.
- Ability to work in different offices depending on the needs of the service.
