To provide an effective clerical support function to the Community Care Finance Team to ensure the efficient operation of the service.
Responsibilities
- Provide a reception service to the Community Care Finance Team, dealing with incoming enquiries to the service.
- Utilise several IT systems on a daily basis for maintaining accurate service user information.
- Organise incoming and outgoing mail for the department and maintain a comprehensive filing system.
- Provide cover for Administration Assistants when required.
- Participate in and contribute to team meetings and discussions in order to continuously improve team efficiency.
The Individual
- Previous experience in an office environment in a clerical/administrative role.
- Experience in Microsoft Office.
- 4 National 4/5 Grades or equivalent.
- Self motivated.
- Effective communication skills with ability to work professionally, effectively and empathetically with service users and their families.
- Demonstrate ability in relation to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective organisational skills including time management.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with people.
- Willingness to accept direction/delegation.
- Effective team working skills.
- Flexibility to meet the needs and demands of the service.
- Ability to work from different offices dependent upon service requirements.
- Promotes a positive working culture.
