To provide an effective clerical support function to the Community Care Finance Team to ensure the efficient operation of the service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a reception service to the Community Care Finance Team, dealing with incoming enquiries to the service.
  • Utilise several IT systems on a daily basis for maintaining accurate service user information.
  • Organise incoming and outgoing mail for the department and maintain a comprehensive filing system.
  • Provide cover for Administration Assistants when required.
  • Participate in and contribute to team meetings and discussions in order to continuously improve team efficiency.

The Individual

  • Previous experience in an office environment in a clerical/administrative role.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • 4 National 4/5 Grades or equivalent.
  • Self motivated.
  • Effective communication skills with ability to work professionally, effectively and empathetically with service users and their families.
  • Demonstrate ability in relation to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective organisational skills including time management.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with people.
  • Willingness to accept direction/delegation.
  • Effective team working skills.
  • Flexibility to meet the needs and demands of the service.
  • Ability to work from different offices dependent upon service requirements.
  • Promotes a positive working culture.

Starting Salary: £25,994.15 pro rata £13.79 per hour

Hours: 28.75 hours per week
