Requirements
- Provide clerical support to the Area Housing Teams.
- Provide a word processing and typing service to the Area Housing Teams.
- Provide a personal reception service.
- Contribute to service improvement and flexible team working.
The Individual
- Experience of working in a busy office environment using relevant technology and equipment e.g. photocopier, E-mail, Intra/Internet.
- Clerical/administration/typing experience.
- Experience of utilising a range of computer packages including Microsoft Office, Excel and Access.
- 4 SQA standard grades or equivalent at Level 3 or above including English.
- Recognised word processing qualification.
- Ability to use initiative when required.
- A flexible approach to work and an ability to work under pressure.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Ability to record information accurately.
- Self-confident and self-motivated.
- Effective customer care skills and focus.
- Ability to work on own and as part of a team.
- An ability to meet set standards and agreed targets.
- Proficiency in a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks.
