Job Description Specifically to provide supervision of children on the school premises, including the playground, during break periods and additionally to provide auxiliary support. Requirements This post is considered to be a ‘Regulated Role’ under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Under the Act it is a legal requirement for an individual undertaking a regulated role with children or protected adults to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme. Therefore the successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to any formal offer of employment being made by Moray Council. Responsibilities Supervision of pupils on the school premises during the mid-morning and lunchtime breaks. Such other duties as determined by the Head Teacher The Individual Previous experience/working with children of Primary School age. Experience in communicating with children and other adults. Experience of keeping order, discipline. Experience of keeping calm in a crisis. Enjoy working with children. Good communication skills. Pleasant Manner (Warm but firm). Ability to use initiative in day to day tasks. Flexible and adaptable.
