To provide a range of services within the nominated facilities. This post requires conscientiousness, high standards and a clear understanding of the importance of all aspects of facility cleanliness and associated hygiene requirements.

Responsibilities

  • As key holder of the Pavilions, you will be responsible for all aspects of security.
  • Responsible for the cleaning of all internal and external areas, ensuring the buildings and external environs are kept in a neat and tidy condition, with a specific responsibility for maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

The Individual

  • Experience of cleaning and handyperson / basic maintenance duties.
  • Ability to organise and manage own workload.
  • Aptitude for tidiness.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks / actions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow routines.
  • Capable of working unsupervised.
  • Active listening and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with members of the public and staff.
  • Ability to lift and carry reasonable weight, move equipment in conjunction with moving and handling regulations.
  • Ability to bend and stretch for wet and dry cleaning.
  • Flexibility to meet the needs and demands of the service.

Temporary Post until 31 December 2026

Starting Salary: £26,281.84 (pro rata) £13.66 per hour, 10 hours per week.
