UHI Moray is seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a professional, efficient, and customer-focused HR service across the College.
As HR Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and HR systems. You will act as a first point of contact for HR queries, ensuring a high standard of service and contributing to the effective operation of the HR function.
The Role
- Maintain and administer HR systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
- Support recruitment and selection processes, including coordinating interviews and completing pre-employment checks (e.g. right to work, PVG)
- Provide onboarding support, ensuring all new starters are set up and compliant prior to commencement
- Produce contracts, letters, and HR documentation
- Generate HR reports and support management information requirements
- Provide administrative support to employee relations and HR governance processes, including minute taking
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries via the HR helpline
- Support learning and development activity, including administration of the training platform
- Maintain accurate HR records in line with GDPR and College policies
Working as part of an established HR Team, the successful candidate must be educated to SCQF level 6 or have relevant HR experience. They must have strong organisational and communication skills, attention to detail, and be confident using IT systems. They will be customer-focused, with a proactive and flexible approach. They must be able to handle confidential information appropriately. Experience within an HR environment and knowledge of HR systems would be advantageous but not essential.
