Our client is a well-established and growing specialist contractor within the dry lining and suspended ceilings sector, delivering high-quality office fit-out projects across the North West. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
The Role
You will take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of office fit-out projects, typically ranging from £200k – £2m, across the North West. This is a hybrid role, split between site visits, office presence, and 1 day per week working from home.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full commercial lifecycle of multiple projects
- Cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Working closely with project managers and clients
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within dry lining and suspended ceilings (essential)
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Experience managing fit-out or interior packages
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
