MORAN Recruitment are currently working with a main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team.

Leading the estimating function across mixed-use residential refurbishment schemes for an established main contractor.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Taking ownership of the commercial or operational delivery associated with the role.
  • Working closely with project teams, clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
  • Monitoring programme, cost, quality and contractual performance where applicable.
  • Managing key project information, reporting and stakeholder communication.
  • Supporting the wider business with delivery, problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Building strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.

About You

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Relevant experience within the project type or specialist area outlined above.
  • Strong commercial or operational understanding.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Relevant qualifications and professional experience will be considered.
