We have just opened a brand new site in Doncaster and we are in the process of hiring a whole new pool of Tramping Drivers to work a variety of General Haulage routes and shifts with Immediate Start available to all successful candidates, so if you are local to Doncaster and are interested in joining a very well established family run logistics company then read on….
Pay rate:
Monday to Friday

- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, AM starts
- Overtime available when drivers hours allow

Role Responsibilities:
- Making deliveries and collections across the UK
- Supervising or helping to load and unload goods
- Making sure loads are safely secured.
- Following traffic reports and changing your route if necessary
- Completing delivery paperwork and defect reporting.
- Thorough vehicle checking before each journey.
- Represents the face of the company
- You may also deal with basic maintenance, such as water top ups before and after journeys
- Cleaning of the cab internally and externally (depot facilities available)
Person Requirements:
- Class 1 licence is mandatory (C+E)
- Valid CPC and digital tacho card essential
- Two years Class 1 truck driving experience required, preferably Tramping
- Less than 6 points on licence preferred (DR10, DD, CD, TT not accepted)
- Excellent driving skills and road safety knowledge
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job eg loading/unloading, coupling/uncoupling, operating curtain-siders etc
- Reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the business
- Safety conscious ensuring that personal, vehicle and load safety, and that of others, is a key priority.
