At Moral Care, we know care work can be incredibly rewarding, but we also know too many care jobs come with unpredictable rotas, last minute changes and very little work life balance. That is not how we do things. We are a family run home care company based in Morecambe, and we believe care staff deserve stability, support and a role that fits around real life. If you want a job where you know when you are working, when you are off, and what your week looks like in advance, this could be the role for you.

Our shifts are a mix of 7am to 2pm, 2pm to 9pm, and 7am to 9pm. Our 7am to 9pm shifts also include a good break in the middle of the day, so they are not one long continuous shift. Some days you may finish at 2pm and have the rest of the day to yourself. Other days you can enjoy a slower morning before starting at 2pm. There is also the opportunity to pick up extra shifts if you want them, but there is no pressure. Overtime is available, but it is always optional.

Pay starts from: £13.20 per hour unqualified, £21.50 per hour Christmas Day. Pay increases with length of service, rising up to £14.50 per hour. You will also receive 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and access to our staff reward programme, which recognises things like great attendance, referrals, extra support and going above and beyond.

    • Be a driver with access to a vehicle
    • Have the right to work in the UK

Please note, we do not offer sponsorship. Above all, we are looking for caring, dependable people who want to make a real difference and be part of a supportive team. If you are looking for a care role with more structure, more balance and a company that genuinely values its staff, we would love to hear from you.
