We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the kitchen, with a focus on food preparation and production. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
  • Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings that reflect current culinary trends.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
  • Experience in team management, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new recipes is essential.
