Know the Role Inside Out

Make sure you thoroughly understand the responsibilities of a Support Worker. This knowledge will help you answer questions confidently and show your genuine interest in the role.

Showcase Your Compassion

During the interview, highlight your ability to provide compassionate care. Share specific examples from your past experiences where you’ve made a positive impact on someone’s life. This will demonstrate that you align with the company’s values of kindness and support.

Prepare Questions to Ask

Interviews are a two-way street! Prepare thoughtful questions about the team dynamics, training opportunities, and the company’s approach to client care. This shows that you’re engaged and serious about finding the right fit for both you and the organisation.

Consider doing mock interviews with a friend or family member. Practising common interview questions can help you articulate your thoughts clearly and reduce any nerves. The more comfortable you are speaking about your experiences, the better you’ll perform during the actual interview.
