*About the Role*
As a Cluster Manager, you will lead and manage a cluster of Moorview Care supported living services, ensuring that safe, effective and person-centred care is delivered at all times.
You will provide leadership and support to Team Leaders and support teams, ensuring services operate safely, efficiently and in line with regulatory and organisational standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining high-quality care, supporting staff development and ensuring positive outcomes for the people we support.
You will work closely with internal teams, families and external professionals to ensure services remain responsive to individual needs and aligned with best practice.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leading people, developing teams and driving service excellence within a supported living environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
*Leadership & Service Management*
* Provide leadership and line management to Team Leaders across a cluster of supported living services.
* Lead by example in delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
* Promote a positive team culture aligned with Moorview Care values.
* Support teams to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care.
* Facilitate co-production with the people we support and encourage meaningful participation in service development.
* Support the opening of new services and expansion of commissioned hours where required.
* Represent Moorview Care in regional forums and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
*Care & Person-Centred Support*
* Ensure individuals receive support that promotes independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
* Oversee the development and review of support plans to ensure they remain person-centred and effective.
* Coordinate and attend client reviews and multidisciplinary meetings.
* Ensure all individuals have Health Action Plans and appropriate health monitoring in place.
* Support teams in achieving personal goals identified by the people we support.
* Oversee communication passports and other personalised support tools where required.
* Support service transitions and contribute to assessments for new individuals.
*Positive Behaviour Support*
* Support the development and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support plans in collaboration with PBS specialists.
* Ensure behavioural support strategies are person-centred and proactive.
* Review behavioural reports and incident documentation.
* Facilitate team debriefs following incidents and ensure learning is embedded into practice.
*Quality, Compliance & Safeguarding*
* Ensure services operate in line with Moorview Care standards, policies and procedures.
* Maintain compliance with CQC requirements and support services during inspections.
* Undertake quality assurance checks on service records and documentation.
* Monitor risk assessments and ensure they are reviewed regularly.
* Promote a strong safeguarding culture and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
* Monitor medication management practices, audits and competency assessments.
* Ensure health and safety checks, audits and reporting requirements are completed.
* Support the completion of regulatory reports, including RIDDOR and internal audits.
*Operational Management*
* Oversee the effective day-to-day operation of services within the cluster.
* Monitor rotas to ensure commissioned hours are delivered efficiently.
* Manage staffing resources, annual leave and rota adjustments.
* Support recruitment processes including interviewing and onboarding new team members.
* Ensure inductions, probation reviews and ongoing compliance checks are completed.
* Monitor staff training and ensure compliance with organisational training requirements.
* Support team meetings, operational meetings and follow-up actions.
*Financial & Resource Management*
* Monitor staffing levels and resource allocation to ensure services operate efficiently.
* Review payroll records and highlight discrepancies where required.
* Monitor billable and non-billable hours to ensure accuracy.
* Support budget management and ensure spending aligns with organisational policies.
* Approve finance audits and complete periodic financial checks relating to client finances.
* Promote financial awareness and identify efficiencies where possible.
*Partnership Working*
* Build strong relationships with families, advocates, commissioners and professionals.
* Work collaboratively with internal departments and operational leaders.
* Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and service reviews.
* Support effective communication between services, stakeholders and the wider organisation.
*About You*
* You are a passionate and motivated leader who is committed to delivering excellent care and developing high-performing teams.
* Experience managing supported living or social care services.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and regulatory compliance.
* Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and person-centred practice.
* A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (Level 5 desirable).
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between services.
