The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You would be required to provide lead nurse responsibilities during your shift by guiding, supervising, and supporting the wider care team, in order to achieve the delivery of targeted, person-centered care delivery. Other responsibilities would include safe administration of prescribed medications, on-going monitoring of medication stock levels, ordering and receiving of medications, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents and completion of daily tasks such as audits and implementing, reviewing and updating of care and risk plans.
Moorlands Rehabilitation – Harewood Park are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate qualified RMN, RNLD or RGN to join our dedicated team at Harewood Park, Cheadle as Clinical Lead Nurse. We specialise in the rehabilitation and care for adults with enduring mental health issues, mild learning disabilities and acquired brain injury. Our aim is to support each individual to develop their skills and achieve their goals and aspirations during their recovery to enable to reach their optimum potential.
Working alongside the Registered Manager to ensure that the home is fully compliant with the requirements of the Care Quality Commission and all relevant legislation, including carrying out the required audits. Strong leadership skills would be required to work in conjunction with the nurses and wider team to promote and maintain high professional standards, offer on-going support and guidance, ensure that personal development needs are identified and met for the qualified and care staff and provide clear clinical leadership regarding the care and support of all residents.
Hours of work can be negotiable but would be a mixure of supernumery and on shift hours as there may be a need to cover shifts at short notice or in an emergency. Therefore the ability to work earlies, lates and nights is essential, however, normal working hours would be around office hours., Registered mental health nurse – learning disability nurse
Experience (desirable but not essential)
Demonstrate experience of working with people who live with complex mental health needs, mild learning disabilities and/or brain injury and the wider psychiatric and community teams who support them.
Care planning tools.
Completion of audits and action plans to improve services.
Leadership and management including supervision and appraisal, performance management, mentoring.
